The College Library has been playing a very significant role in the educational process and it is the heart of the institution. The library is the storehouse of knowledge that helps achieve the objectives of education, conservation of knowledge and ideas as well as teaching and research programs.
​

The Library of Mahendra Pratap Sharada Prasad Singh College of Commerce & Science and Uttar Bharatiya Sangh Junior College of Commerce & Science Bandra, Mumbai- 51 was established in the academic year 2006-07.

 

Looking at the social contribution of Dr. Rammanohar Tripathi in the field of education the Library was named as Dr. Rammanohar Tripathi Library.

 

 Dr. Manju Pandey and Mr. Anurag Tripathi gifted more than 250 books to the Library in the memory of their father Dr. Rammanohar Tripathi.

 

Library is well structured and has a good collection of books along with a spacious Reading Hall with computer and internet facility. The library has Reference books, Periodicals, Newspapers and  E-Library Desk Question Papers. Syllabus is available in hard copy. Open access facilities are available for the students.

World Civil Défense Day

World Civil Defense Day is celebrated every year on March 1 to bring the attention of the world public to the importance of civil protection and to pay tribute to the efforts, sacrifices, and accomplishments of all the services responsible for fighting against disasters. The International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) decided to celebrate this day in 1990. 

World Compliment Day

World Compliment Day is observed annually on March 1. It is a global celebration dedicated to promoting kindness and uplifting spirits through genuine compliments.

Self-Injury Awareness Day

It is celebrated globally on March 1. Its purpose in celebrating the day is to remove the stigma attached to self-injury and to encourage parents, family members, educators, and healthcare professionals to recognise signs of self-harm.

World Wildlife Day​​​

This day is celebrated globally on 3rd March and is closely aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 12 that is Life without water, which focuses on marine species and highlights the problems, critical issues of marine wildlife to our everyday life. The theme of World Wildlife Day 2023 is “Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration”.

World Hearing Day is observed on 3rd March every year to raise awareness about how to prevent deafness and to promote hearing across the world.

Every year, National Grammar Day is celebrated on March 4. The day was established in 2008 by Martha Brockenbrough, the founder of the Society for the Promotion of Good Grammar. This day celebrates the idiosyncrasies of the English language by studying common grammar mistakes, proofreading our correspondence, and delving into linguistic nuances.

Savitribai Phule Death Anniversary

Savitribai Phule was an Indian social reformer, poet, and powerful voice in the Indian freedom struggle. She worked tirelessly to emancipate women and the Dalit community, inspiring generations of Indians. Sadly, she passed away on 10th March 1897 at the young age of 64, while fighting the plague.

CISF Raising Day

The CISF Raising Day is held on March 10th and is regarded as one of the most important days in March. On this day in 1969, an act of the Indian Parliament established the CISF. This organisation is in charge of India's seaways, airways, and other critical assets. The CISF has a few reserve battalions that work with state police to keep the peace.

World Sleep Day

Pi Day is observed on March 14th. Pi is a mathematical symbol for a constant. The circumference-to-diameter ratio of a circle is approximately 3.14. Because the 14th of March resembles the first three digits of Pi, the day is known as Pi Day.

Shaheed Diwas

On March 23, 1931, in Lahore jail, young freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev were executed by the British government. Their sacrifice for India's freedom is honored every year on Shaheed Diwas. These brave individuals, in their twenties, gave their lives for the country.

World Meteorological Day

​World Tuberculosis (TB) Day

World Tuberculosis (TB) Day is observed on March 24th each year to raise awareness about the global epidemic of TB and to promote efforts to eliminate the disease. The day marks the anniversary of the discovery of the bacteria that causes TB in 1882 by Dr. Robert Koch. World TB Day provides an opportunity to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social, and economic impact of TB, and to promote greater efforts to prevent, diagnose, and treat the disease.
